Funny thing. I caught sight of a girl on the subway reading Deborah Harkness Shadow of night. It seemed to be about witches or vampires not quite sure. Is she any good? New name to me.

I have met Jance twice now. Once in Silverdale and second time in Port Angeles. I am now in Auburn, Washington. Yes, I enjoy a lot of her work. The first time we met, she suggested that I read Hour of the Hunter. Read it, and was ravenous for more.I love Jance's JP Beaumont books! I lived in the Seattle area for about 30 years so I love it when she writes about a place that I've been. She's great to see in person, too.
Did she sing 'At Seventeen'?I have met Jance twice now. Once in Silverdale and second time in Port Angeles. I am now in Auburn, Washington. Yes, I enjoy a lot of her work. The first time we met, she suggested that I read Hour of the Hunter. Read it, and was ravenous for more.
Don't forget to chew thirty times... and taste, taste, taste!About thirty pages from the end of Drawing of the Three. I just started my Dark Tower reread YESTERDAY!!
Reread Dark Tower with me!I'm at loose ends for reading at the moment which means nothing seems to engage me, but I patiently root around until I find something. Right now I'm sampling from The Gunslinger and The Yiddish Policemen's Union, by Michael Chabon. I wonder if I'm ready fro a DT re-read?

I read Steven Adler's My Appetite for Destruction: Sex & Drugs & Guns N' Roses and felt the same way!The story of the early days and the formation of Guns N' Roses is fascinating, hilarious and horrific all at the same time.
It's So East (and other lies) - Duff McKagan
Hey fljoe0 - did you notice you posted this at 4:20??!It's So East (and other lies) - Duff McKagan
Autobiography of musician Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses). A rise and fall and rise again story. A very inspirational story from a guy that was down about as far as you could go without dying. The story of the early days and the formation of Guns N' Roses is fascinating, hilarious and horrific all at the same time.
Fixed...Typo alert - The title is "It's So Easy (and other lies)" not East. I wish I could get my typing fingers and my brain to work together.
