I have never heard that song in my lifeAnybody around here actually know the story behind this band, and this song?
Wayoftheredpanda , you're Texan.
Oh my stars and flamin' garters......then you don't know about Mr.Peppermint.....or the Toadies, or Possum Kingdom lake.I have never heard that song in my life
Aw, mahalo Wolf! Bruddah Iz had the voice of an angel. Did you know that this mash-up was spontaneous? He was just playing "Over The Rainbow" and decided that "Wonderful World" would go nicely with it and started working that in. Such a brilliant talent. This beautiful voice and song is for Miss Tery .
I remember way back when, when she posted about it.
I'd heard this version before but
I had no idea who had sang it until then.
Thanks again, homebound Angel.

One of my other favorite Hawaiian singers is Keali'i Reichel, who also has an angelic voice. This is one of his best, IMO, and appropriate for Pride Month. Grab a Kleenex for this one:
This is my favourite JCM tune.I love that live version GNT posted of the Simmons tune.
An interesting thing about "Hello It's Me" and "Baby Blue" -- I actually have considered those two songs my first and second favorite tunes. It was a while after that I found out that Todd Rundgren produced "Blue." Funny, huh? More coincidental than anything else, but still, one of my favorite Cheap Trick songs was produced by him, too...so maybe there is something consistent here? I don't know.
When I was younger, I wasn't too into John Cougar's material. Nowadays, I am more into it, maybe because of nostalgia. One of my favorites is "I need a lover"; another is "Done with the night." But, lately, a song that I think really rocks and might be one of his best is "Tumblin Down."
On Beatles: they're great. Lately related to them, I have been intrigued by Starr interviews where he discusses how he drums as a left-handed guy just as a right-handed person would.
Over the Rainbow by Iz is so beautiful. This reminded of the good old days of the board. I remember Flakey brought it to our attention and we just played the crap out of it!Aw, mahalo Wolf!
