One of my favorites.
Part of my Punk / New Wave playlist. Popped up on my drive home this evening.
Just saying, I thought as much thanks for the insightful reminder! As I was saying, thanks for being here, (I think Pegasus beat me to the punch on that one) all! This is my favorite thread. What's all this then? Thank's for being here?
This is the song thread, belongs to everyone. Actually owed by OP Witchcult Today. Just sayin.
Mine too, although the memory became slightly tainted when they used it in a fast food ad (Burger King?).One of my favorites.
The Dead Zone, right? You were eleven years old. It's my brother Stephen's birthday today and every year I dedicate this song to him. He gave me my name, and I also stole my first SK book from him (that part he doesn't need to know about).
Check your PMs NN , (from a few days ago). No need to reply, just smile.Hang in there NN, it will get better.
Love that one! I keep meaning to listen to the Cat Stevens song "oohhh baby baby it's a wild world", another ear worm I guess. Here's another Springsteen to keep this cohesive!
I'll get this one out of my system
This next one is for Steffan (and me) I've wanted to hear this one for three months or so. I still love this video!

I haven't heard that in a while. I love it too. There was a time when I avoided those kinds of songs because they caused me too much anguish. I am proud of myself now. I can listen to any song, any story without bringing myself to that place (what might have been) It may seem like a lack of affect, it may be.One of the most morose, depressing songs I've ever heard, but I love it.
"Do you feel lucky, punk?".
I'm not sure what to make of that. What happened? Did every television play reruns of "The Apprentice"? Did leprechauns climb out of the shower drain singing "it's a small world after all"?Heh, I watched "I'm On Fire" right after i watched "My Hometown"
Interesting but missing those killer drums.

In all fairness, here is what I was aiming for last night, sans personal anecdote. Pink - so what? I know she's not the most popular artist in this thread, it's this song.Lovely, well since you mentioned it, here's my absolute favourite depressing song, from a band that should have been WAY more popular than they are.- end quote.
Steffan,
Now I'm glad that I watched all of it. I am equally perplexed by the accordion, the ghostly image behind guitar player, and my inexplicable urge to cry!
