Wow, so sorry to hear you lost a friend, mjs. That's a shame he was so young too.I just learned a friend,aged 43,died of a heart attack..good guy,worked in the jail and I saw him there many times over the years..shocked and sad..
I learned once again how supportive this board can be!
That no matter how many times I listen to AC\DC's "Thunderstruck", I still think it's one of the best songs of all time.

I learned that the Mcchicken sandwich is not half bad. I hardly ever eat at Mcdonald's -So it was a surprise to me. It was on the $1 menu.
No, it's pretty good. I usually end up getting it if I go there which is about once a month. The one from Wndi's is much better but it's not as close to my house.....

Thank you..shocked still,and just wondering why God takes someone like that..thank you all for the support that means much to me..he was a very good guy,very steady,who could defuse situations,and make people settle down who were out of control due to intox or mental issues,just by a calm demeanor and voice..very sad today,but he would expect that people do their jobs and go on,even though they have to turn away at times to conceal their sadness while trying to be professional..RIP John,see you on the other side..I'm so sorry, MJS... 43 is incredibly young.

...the combination is a recipie for disaster...we who work behind the wire and in corrections face a special kind of stress...always, ALWAYS try to find time to remember there IS light & love in the world...it helps immeasurably...

I lost a friend a few weeks ago; 44 and had a heart attack too. I still don't believe it. I am sorry and I truly share what your heart's feeling.
