This woman gave birth four months ago and she looks amazing. But people are getting in an uproar because they think she's feeding into the pressure to lose weight right after giving birth.

I see both sides.

Side A - Good for her. She looks amazing. Better than me with no kids.

Side B - Damn her for making me feel bad for the way I look.

Side A - No way! She SHOULD be proud!

Side B - I hate her I hate her I hate her.

What do you guys think?

I think that people are in each others business way too much. (media sucks... enormously) I lost all of my baby weight in the first few weeks after my first and second children, it took a bit longer for the next two, but I'd never post full body pics of myself because I'm shy and hate what social media is doing to us.
And... I don't think we should necessarily need to have an opinion every time something pops up online.

I dunno what to think. She looks like a stick. The pics aren't very flattering I don't think...some things are best left to the imagination. I'd be more impressed if she was holding her baby in her arms. Seems like her priorities are in the wrong place.

So what was the purpose of the first woman posting her selfie? I mean c'mon, she could have posted SAME pic without mentioning that she had just had a baby, to me her motive is suspect.

She could just be proud of herself. I don't really see the harm in being proud.

I posted selfies of the following recently:
- The lipstick I made at work
- Taking a helicopter ride

Both things were awesome and I was proud. Should she be ashamed of looking good?

I think I have clarified how I feel while I was responding to this. Thank you.

Personal pride is great, it's fantastic, I occasionally feel it. I was not attacking you in any way, sorry if you took way.

Question for anyone, I have been looking online and can't find out the weight of her daughter at the time of birth. I was just curious, I didn't have large babies myself.

So, folks are in an uproar because she is supposedly buckling under the pressure to lose her baby weight quickly, and yet we put pics of celebrities on the covers of magazines and praise, praise, praise them for losing their baby weight mere seconds (I'm stretching the facts here, just being funny) after giving birth? Those celebrities who can afford personal trainers and chefs to help them lose their weight? She's not a celebrity, so I guess it's ok to go after her, right? What is wrong with our society? Steve referred to it as the Kardashian Culture. God, just typing that name (Kar-trash-ian) makes me ill. Good for the lady for losing the weight! Bully for her! Even if she didn't lose the weight I would cheer her on because she created another life, someone that may grow up to have a huge positive influence on society, maybe someone that will find a cure for cancer? More power to her!

My co-worker recently gave birth to a 10 pound baby boy.....delivered him naturally, too.
She brought him to visit the salon about 4 days after. She was almost entirely back to her pre-baby body, and in two weeks she was completely back to her pre-baby weight and shape. She looks amazing.....and I only hate her when she says that she thinks she looks flabby.
Honestly, I think some ladies just have a natural ability to "snap back" after childbirth.....and some have to work really hard to regain their shape.
Me......well, it's been 12 years and my body just hasn't cooperated.
