At first I assumed it was what's left of a cat after a horrible accident or gestational deformity. Now I think it's just photo-what's-it.
Oh boy I really hope it's photo-shopped because it made me feel sad and creeped out and a bit disturbed really... the stuff of nightmares, of nightmares I tell ya! It can't really be real, can it? o_O

What creeps me out about Mr. King's novels are not the supernatural stuff--it's the dark side of human nature that he writes so well--the child beaters, wife abusers, the self-cutters, the cruel bullies, savage drunks and the folks that slowly or quickly lose touch with reality. I'll be honest, I usually speed my recording past that stuff because it gives me the willies. Ghosts, vampires, psychopathic shape-shifting clowns--don't scare me. One exception--Derry--I love Derry is creepy--not that is crawling with ghouls but that like The Overlook, it seems to transform it's occupants--I hope we will see him do another novel just on Derry.
