People who have no volume control in their voice. I just want to say-Do you not know that my ears are ringing at certain point in the conversation.

Two people in my life are both hard of hearing and talk loudly to one another, usually when I'm between them trying to complete a task :D After a few minutes I have to move. I can't describe the sensation except some kind of hearing sensory overload.
If anyone saw the show "The Osbournes", there was a part where Ozzy and Sharon were sitting on the couch together and Sharon asked Ozzy to go call Jack. Without getting up, he turned towards Sharon and bellowed "JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" at the top of his lungs. I thought she was going to hit him, LOL

If you haven't tried them, look for Sugar Free Jolly Ranchers. They are limited to four flavors (Green Apple, Watermelon, Raspberry, and Grape) and are of course more expensive for a smaller bag, but DAMN. I try to keep sugar free, and these are right up there with Brach's Sugar Free Cinnamon discs for flavor.

i wish more ice cream was low sugar. stuff tastes the same, and costs the same, but there's like 4 flavors of the low sugar. if it tastes the same and costs the same, what are we even doing loading it with sugar? sugarless needs more love in the market, considering the prevalence of people who need to eat less or no sugar (medically speaking, and hell, people on diets too). and the sugar free strawberry ice cream they served on my cruise i went on in april was hands down the best strawberry ice cream i'd ever had.

Very true. As far as the commercial stuff goes, it is hit or miss. Breyers sugar free is pretty tasteless, but their Carb Smart, which is not much different nutritionally, is very good. Turkey Hill makes a decent sf moose tracks, but I don't like their vanilla. Klondike SF Crunch bars are awesome. Like you, I wish there were more varieties. I'd literally kill for sf coffee.

On the subject of click baiting and ridiculous websites that make you scroll through 1,000 pages to see each picture, here's a new one: I clicked on a cute sounding compilation of pictures and I was told I must vote "like" or "dislike" in order to see the next picture.
This is ridiculous.

Halo Top ice cream is lower in sugar and fat. The cookie dough is really good. Walmart.

Over-sugared anything tastes like chemical crap IMO. I've no real medical reason to avoid sugar that I'm aware of, but when you take sugary food A and add 20 tons of sugar to it, it's just...woah. My pancreas hurts.

actually, breyer's is what i was referring too, but i only get the neapolitan and it tastes pretty normal to me *shrug*. but they should definitely branch out. can't remember which ones they have exactly. wanna say it's chocolate, vanilla, neapolitan and salted caramel or something, which is a no for me. or maybe it was butter pecan? not one i liked all that much in any case. haven't seen those klondikes at the store, have to look for em.

i haven't seen that there, only breyers. might have to look harder or closer, or at a different walmart lol

We like the regular plain (boring) Breyer's flavors that have about 4 or 5 ingredients. This recipe uses plain sugar, but it's such a "normal" ice cream ingredients list and I swear it tastes better.
Now that someone mentioned klondikes, though....
:)

They're fairly new I think. Just read today that they've added seven new flavors that will be available in a few weeks. It's not like you're eating full-fledged ice cream, but it satisfies that craving without all the sugar, fat and calories.
This might help you on where to find it:

the other difference might be that i'm referring to low sugar, versus sugar free (which i actually haven't seen at walmart). 4 grams of sugar per half cup i think, vs 14-20 for the regular stuff

Here's what Halo Top says about sugar:
HOW WE SWEETEN THE DEAL
so where’s the sugar?
In short, we use organic stevia. Stevia is a plant native to Paraguay that’s been used to sweeten foods and beverages for more than 200 years. And, because it’s so tasty, we use it as a sugar replacement. We also use Erythritol, which though it has a rather scientific-sounding name, is actually another all-natural sweetener found in fruits like pears and grapes. Though it’s technically a sugar alcohol, it's unlike the others because erythritol doesn’t affect blood glucose or cause bloating.

If your local supermarket doesn't carry a product you want to ask the manager if they'll order it. They will usually order products a few times and depending how it moves either keep it or discontinue it.

My mother is diabetic and enjoys The Skinny Cow products. Still have to be careful but most are okay for her. Oh! Watch low fat, low cal foods-they can sometimes be horribly high levels of sodium. I mean HIGH LEVELS of sodium.

The Skinny Cow | NESTLÉ® USA

i'm actually doing keto, which allows for high fat. the bad comes from carbs and sugar, which i avoid as much as possible. it works really well. something about retraining your body to actually burn fat instead of carbs for fuel. it's great for diabetics too according to all reports i've seen. i haven't even been "counting macros" to track the diet, which they say you should do and i've still lost plenty of weight pretty steadily and the diabetes came under control pretty quick too. any diet that you can half a$$ and still have it work is a diet worth doing in my book lol. i'll probably hit a point in the future where i'll have to start paying more attention to the numbers to keep losing, but for now i still have plenty of extra that probably won't take concentration to get rid of.
