What to do when you're bored

Since I have been dealing with this stupid injury I have very limited things I can do. I can't work with horses. It aggravates my shoulder to even drive my car. I found this message bored and used and abused the heck out of it. NOW I AM BORED!!!! I don't mean the regular kind where you can forget about it. I mean the full on full fledge bored I am literally feeling the boredum emotion while writing this. SOMEONE THINK OF SOMETHING to do when you are bored.

GOD NO! I tried to find it in library it was not only not there but like 27 holds. Then I went to the book store and they had none (we only have a used one) and then I went to wallyworld and it was a no go there. My mom just made the same suggestion except she said and I quote "You should get a stephen king book on training dogs" i said "I did its name was cujo" we both had a good chuckle but I am thinking about going to see if I can find it anywhere.

However, if you're like me, when I'm REALLY bored, I can't concentrate much on reading.
Plus, you probably are under stress with your injury, and that makes it hard to focus as well.
Eat some peanut butter; that'll help.

I have several King duplicate novels you're welcome to have. I pick them up when I see them in the local thrift store and give them away (the thrift store sales benefits disadvantaged children). I just got hardcovers of Firestarter, Blaze, The Bachman Books, and Black House today. I may have one or two other hardcovers and some paperbooks kicking around. I've given away a number of King books here on SKMB. If interested, they're yours. Just PM me.

But when bored I go to my hobby... bass fishing. I have a gazillion lures and put together a plan of attack for my next fishing outing.

lol peanut butter? I am a reader so that is probably the only thing i can do no matter what. as long as the book doesnt suck

I liked fishing for like two tries then not o much. maybe wicked tuna fishing would interest me lol. OK ill see what you got

I was trying to re read the stand but read it to recently so then I was trying to re read rage and running man and stuff but that was to recent to. I guess I should go to the book store before it closes

Cards? Board games? Video games? I like card games myself, but I don't play them much. Plus, if you are bored and in need of human interaction, that is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT!

I dont know any card games really except go fish and solitaire. I like chess does that count lol

comics, tv-series, sleep. Read something you know you like, something you've read many times before that is easy to read, (i often try Wodehouse his Jeeves and Wooster stories always cheer me up), but still amusing.

There are lots of things to do. Try pretending to be a spy, go to the park with a hat and dark glasses and go up to random people and ask for the codeword followed by 'I hear the snow is deep in Moscow'.

Or, wear a cape for fun.

Work out what new combinations go with peanut butter (since Danie is promoting it).

Or air guitar the entire Led Zeppelin back catalogue.

I think maybe, just maybe, i need some downtime.
