Which is the true "First" of the pop-up edition?

I've had two copies of the pop-up book for years--one purchased new and the other was probably either a gift from someone or I found it at a good price at a used book store, yard sale, etc. For the first time I've just noticed that the copyright information (on the back cover) is different on the two copies:

Copy #1: I'm pretty certain this is the copy I bought new. It's still in the original clear sealable plastic envelope. The bar code box contains the price: "US $24.95/$35.95 CAN." The copyright info to the left of the bar code box says "Copyright 1999 by Stephen King. Adaptation, illustration, and paper engineering copyright 2004 by Stephen King" with no number line or no other specifications as to edition (just some info about Little Simon, Simon & Schuster, New York, baseball trademark statement, Manufactured in China statement, website, etc).

Copy #2: Given to me by someone or purchased used. The bar code box does NOT contain any price information but is otherwise identical to Copy #1. The copyright info to the left of the bar code box includes all of the same information as Copy #1, but includes several other lines of text and ALSO SAYS "First Edition 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1" as well as "First Little Simon pop-up edition 2004."

My question is: Which of these two is the ORIGINAL first edition of the pop-up book? Part of me is inclined to lean toward Copy #1 because I remember buying it new and because it has the price in the bar code box. But what about Copy #2 having the additional First Edition statements and number line?

I just checked my copy. There is a piece of paper the same size as the book on the back (and it has the same illustrations as the back cover does), but it is NOT attached to the book. It has the same info as your copy #2 has. If you lift this piece of paper up and look underneath, you find the same info as what your copy #1 has. Is your copy #2 missing this extra sheet of paper?

Yes, there is an unattached sheet of paper inside the clear plastic envelope of Copy #1. When I look behind it, the back of the book is the same as I described for Copy #2.
