As we see the upcoming 4/20 festivities and read about some new pot shop opening somewhere, it sometimes seems like we're the only ones in Colorado who don't.
I may have an old joint stashed away

Oh oh - here comes Dudley Doo-Right on his horse now!

I have not smoked it in years and have no desire to do so at the moment

I've tried a few times, but it gives me an absolute raging headache. I don't know if that's because it's weed or because it's smoking, because I never have (and never will) tried smoking tobacco, but the headache negates anything positive about it for me. I can be around other people who smoke it without getting a headache, so it might just be the act of smoking itself. I dunno. Nothing about the experience makes me want to experiment further.

I was picking up various boozes at the local slosh emporium yesterday, and the clerk and I got into a brief but friendly discussion. I don't want to relate the details, because I don't want to offend any good people of SKMB, but I gave him a couple alternative of good wishes for today, depending whether he was religious or not. He grinned and said, "I'll just take 'Happy 420.'"

Are you sure Grandma isn't sneaking outside for a toke once in a while? ;-D
Oh, my. That's such a funny visual, and it's only because you don't know Grandma to know how funny it really is.

But pretty sure, yeah! Although if she were, hey, she's an adult and can do that. But again, knowing her, she'd make sure she had things budgeted for the grandkids before she went to the local pot shop. And uh-oh... now I'm laughing again at that visual.

I was a several times a day guy in college but after finishing and getting a job it didn't fit into my life. Made the studying harder but it was something I used to pass the long days/stress and also as a party favor. I basically grew out of it over the last couple years and if I to partake, it doesn't do anything for me anymore. Engaged and focused on a new chapter in my life. Not to mention I have more "time" to read now. I majored in English and it was quite frustrating when I smoked, read for two hours and set this book down without comprehending a page. But the legalization in many states has brought out many closet smokers!
