Who would you choose?
(Alive or dead, matters not.)

Here who is I pictured throughout the three books....

Juliet Landau as Holly Gibney:

Michael B. Jordan as Jerome Robinson:

Kodi Smit-McPhee as Brady Hartsfield:

And last but certainly not least, if only his physical form was still with us ~ Lee J. Cobb as 'Det. Ret.' Bill Hodges:

I'm convinced that Steve had this character/role in mind when he wrote Hodges, rather subconsciously or otherwise....the two are so much alike.

Either way, looking very forward to it all - DON'T drop the ball, Hollywood!

You want a Bill Hodges movie?

Well, there's already a movie similar with the whole private eye with black kid sidekick.

It's called Walk Among the Tombstones with Liam Neeson. Neeson even has a young black kid sidekick helping him with a case

If you have watched the HBO series The Night Of you will see that Bill Camp is the perfect actor to play Bill Hodges. I listened to the trilogy on Audible and could not get him out of my mind.
