Just started reading this yesterday . one thing love about king is how he refers to other novels in other works. he mentioned here about hearing about a dog that went rabid and killed a bunch of people. if u never read cujo you would have just passed over that. but if u have read cujo u get a cool feeling. like ur part of an inside joke or something with king. love it

Not sure how many of King's books you've read but he mentions Ludlow in several other books. I agree, the Easter eggs are a fun bonus. Hope you share your review of Pet Sematary.

...Easter Eggs abound in his works and always bring a grin when you stumble across one...

That is right..like in Salem's Lot,when the vampire grabbed this dude,I think his name was Scott, but went by the nickname GNT,and he bit into his head like it was a cantaloupe or something..that was pretty cool, old Gnt probably didn't deserve that treatment, but you know, thinking about it..maybe he did.. ;)

You say true, and it did happen in the kitchen.
And that time that GNT wandered into to a pantry at that hotel in Colorado. That was a close one.

King is down-home. That's what I dig about him. I can totally relate to his brain.

And our rampant Behemoth? He's down-home, too. Leaves a trail of bisquits and gravy in his wake. Beware.

Someone will post the chart, soon.

Remember when Scott fell into that well during an eclipse because he caught the aroma of baking?

I heard that one time he ate the strawberry pie, anyway. And no ill effects.
