borborygmus \bawr-buh-RIG-muhs\, noun:
a rumbling or gurgling sound caused by the movement of gas in the intestines.
"The stertorous borborygmus of the dyspeptic Carlyle!" declaimed Willie Weaver, and beamed through his spectacles. The mot, he flattered himself, could hardly have been more exquisitely juste.
-- Aldous Huxley, Point Counter Point, 1928

Then her stomach grumbled and spoiled the silence. Quickly, Patsy pressed her hand against her complaining belly, and hoped that Ray had not heard it. "Suffering from borborygmus, I hear," Ray dead-panned dryly.
-- Bonnie Gardner, Sergeant Darling, 2005
Borborygmus comes from the Greek word borborygmós which meant "intestinal rumbling."

pustulant \ˈpəs-chə-lənt; ˈpəs-tyə-, -tə-\ adjective, producing a small circumscribed elevation of the skin containing pus and having an inflamed base

The green sponge didn't look like a brain or a lung or anything else recognizable by then; it was a pustulant, decomposing sac in the corpse's open chest.

That is the coolest word ever. I didn't know tummy gurgling had a proper name.

cartography [kahr-tog-ruh-fee] noun, the production of maps, including construction of projections, design, compilation, drafting, and reproduction

ten-codes [ten-kohds]
Police 10-codes were established to keep radio traffic to a minimum. They speed up communications by reducing common phrases to a series of numbers. Each code begins with a 10 and a dash, followed by another number.

In the world of the police communications officer, everything is describable; cartography must and can be laid out in ten-codes.

Didn't George Carlin have a bit on this word? Seems I remember something from one of the old comedy albums he had.

actorist n. — Note: “Actorvist” is a more common word with the same meaning. «Blending theatrics and activism is a role well suited to Guzmán-Orozco, who even has a name for it—“actorist.” He explains, “I’ve used performances to teach about everything from safer sex for migrant workers to energy efficiency for elementary students. I’ve done quite a bit of theater with a message.”
