It is now 12:19 a.m. so I guess I better go hit the hay - but, since tomorrow (okay - today, technically) is Terry Fox Day here in Canada I will be back to read some more posts.

The week when the holidays were announced I was rather busy, so I did not notice the post even though I was still visiting the site when I had the chance. I realized about the freeze when it was already active. Just now I realized it was already Monday and I jumped back here.
I hope everyone enjoyed the R&R.

It was a long break...I almost ran out of things to read in here! I'm happy to see everyone.

In conclusion, we had a good time anyway. Everyone who actually made it sent Daniel and I a postcard!! It was really nice to get this from GNTG . ..(thank you everyone who kept in touch!)
We spent some time at my Aunt's place in Flag while waiting or the alternator to be repaired:

And then we went home through Sedona which was gorgeous!

Lastly, I captured the two of us together in the middle of the river, believe it or not we are sitting on a rock here!!

GNTLGNT, Me too!! There will be another time. Thank you so much for your concern and got keeping in touch while we were freaking out in Flagstaff. The postcard meant more to me than you can imagine.

Don't feel too bad - in Ohio in 2014 we obviously miscalculated the time it would take to get there (should have driven straight through) plus we managed to get big time lost in Chicago.GNTLGNT, Me too!! There will be another time. Thank you so much for your concern and got keeping in touch while we were freaking out in Flagstaff. The postcard meant more to me than you can imagine.
Still it was nice to meet most everyone in Mansfield and it was great to tour the Shawshank Prison (well actually the Ohio State Reformatory which is now a tourist destination).
I am disappointed about this year, but now I will plan ahead for 2018.
I am going (either by myself or with hubby - one way or another!)

You are all very helpful, in more ways than you know. I'll go to the next one! Two years from now I will be a happily divorced woman woman with a high school senior and an older toddler. I'll be more prepared, I'll have my finances together, maybe even a better car.(oh I guess it's that time of night or I over share) I assume that's OK. Love you guys!
