I heard on the announcement about this this morning that his wife had asked him where he'd like to be buried and he told her, "I don't know, surprise me!"

R.I.P. Yogi Berra... One of baseball’s greatest, ever!
Some of the "Yogi-isms" he graced us with:
“It ain’t over till it’s over.”
“It’s like déjà vu all over again.”
“It ain’t the heat, it’s the humility.”
“You can observe a lot by just watching.”
“You’ve got to be very careful if you don’t know where you are going, because you might not get there.”
“Even Napoleon had his Watergate.”
“When you come to a fork in the road, take it.”
“If you don’t know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.”
“The future ain’t what it used to be.”
“I’m not going to buy my kids an encyclopedia. Let them walk to school like I did.”
“Baseball is 90 percent mental. The other half is physical.”
“We made too many wrong mistakes.”
"I didn't really say everything I said."
My uncle and him were NY Yankee teammates in 1960. And he told me one of his most memorable games was in 1948, while playing for the Philadelphia Athletics, when he broke several ribs leaping over the right field wall to rob Yogi of a home run.

...one of the truly classic characters in all of sports, a pretty damn good catcher and most of all-a gentleman....rest well Yogi....
He was a one-of-a-kind and will be missed. Lots of his "Yogi-isms" were funny but some were just the truth. Here's one of my favorites.
"I tell the kids, somebody’s gotta win, somebody’s gotta lose. Just don’t fight about it. Just try to get better."
