So I ran across this on a torrent site and I'm watching it right now. No wiki page on it, but the description is that it's a horror comedy. So far there are a few fun SK references.

EDIT: Oh hey, I don't have to have my posts approved before they're posted anymore? Sweet!

EDIT 2: I can't seem to find any sites where you can watch it and the only site I could find for you to buy it is eBay. Must be majorly small-time.

The producers just sent me a screener so I'm going to watch it soon. The trailer is on YouTube and they have a Facebook page. I think it is on DVD in parts of Europe.

Since you mentioned a trailer on YouTube, I checked and found it, so I'll post it here for others.

It's not a terrible film -- I've seen far worse. The cinematography is great, the acting is decent (some better than others), the story is exactly what you'd expect, sort of. The special effects aren't great, but they aren't overused. It made me chuckle a few times. I would say the filmmakers accomplished what they set out to do: make a campy "horror" film.

....fog, and MORE fog...I'm saddened though that the obligatory walk down the dismal, dank and foreboding basement stairs wasn't in the trailer...

As a King fan I feel this movie's worth watching just for all the King references. I've definitely watched a lot worse movies, it's obvious this one is played for laughs and the actors do a good job.
Ms Mod do you know if SK has watched this? I hope he'd appreciate the humour in it.

Hahaha...damn I've missed good ole zippy!

It's a fun movie, I'm kinda sad he didn't think of writing/producing it himself. Or maybe he did and is pulling another Bachman on us?! :cool2:

If you clicked on the link right after that, it has the full Storm of the Century video. Does that need to be taken down?
