More so certain things that king writes..I never step over a sewer grate. I use certain terms particularly from dreamcatcher.

I use some of the sayings the guys in Dreamcatcher used. I have a list of them somewhere lol.

I also think of SK when I hear songs by CCR. I forgot which novel mentioned Running Through The Jungle but that song especially makes me think of SK :)

Just a quick thought. I wonder when Joe Hill was marketing his first book...He probably could not put his picture or everyone would know he was Sai King's son.. They look a lot of like. :)
When I was at the library, maybe around a year ago, the librarian looked at the back of one of Joe Hill's books and saw him with a beard - she commented that he does look like his Dad.

She had not known Joe Hill was related to Stephen King up until that point.

I just Googled his first book (Heart Shaped Box) and apparently this is the photo that was put on the inside of the dust jacket at the back:

Okay - ooops my mistake - guess he did have a beard after all - the two pictures are quite similar however

Maybe one was a first edition and the other one a reprint? (especially since the second photo has a blurb indicating he is the author of 20th Century Ghosts)

I. Can't rember if he was outed by them or not. It got harder and harder for him to keep it due to how much he looked like his dad. His first book was heart shaped box and he had an author pic for that one, but before that he had a short story collection 20 century ghosts. Not shure if he had an authoroc for that either

Ok I figured it out. So his first book on short story's 20th cemetery ghosts came out in 2005 in the U.K. First, so he got his big breack their, and then came out in America in 2007, and I think he had to confirm his identity as kings son,as the book was coming out with his author picture, people where wondering before that though. It was- a is he is is he not, kind of like king and backman. I think he may have been doing lock and key a bit before the book came out

Their is a pic of him with a Santa hat.. not shure if I could post that one.

It's kind of nude. Google
No nude pictures allowed - I posted one of a Miss Canada with "camel-toe" that got edited and I got a stern warning, so be careful and think twice before you post anything that might give you pause for thought!

I kind of like the moderation on this board - it stops us from descending into raunchy stuff and pics that might be considered to be demeaning to women or disrespectful; one of the things that makes this SKMB a much nicer place to be!
