The Long Run - Eagles
I posted a song from this album in Song thread earlier today. 'I Can't Tell You Why'.

I don't own any albums, only CDs (and 90% are classical music), but I enjoy listening to album recordings on YouTube. Recently I have been listening to Paul McCartney. 'Calico Skies' is a favorite. I'm not sure what all his albums are called.

I'm looking at the dates of release and it's weird how many come from my very young ages! Now if you want to talk about individual songs... there isn't enough time in a day to list them (lol)

I'm a 90's baby so my first band I was totally obsessed with a a wee child was Spicegirls! "Spice-Spicegirls"

My stepdad was a huge Nirvana fan and growing up this album "Nevermind-Nirvana" was playing in my house a lot and Pink Floyd The Wall was on tv a lot, it was my favourite even though it scared me. Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC and Prince were also good ones too.

My mother was a Cranberries fan and she had the album "No need to Argue-Cranberries"

I had an awesome childhood with great music.

Nothing's Shocking!!!!!! You stole my thunder with that one but, YES! YES! YES! Love that album. I can remember upsetting my mother when I came home from Camden Market with a T-shirt printed with the album cover.

With you on The Bends, and Pink Floyd as well. Took up guitar recently and I've been trying to learn Wish you were here for the past couple of weeks.

Hi, Tery !

I was thinking of this the other day in the car - I still listen to CDs and I was thinking of what I like to listen to without skipping a single song, excluding "Best of"or "Greatest Hits"

Van Morrison - Moondance
Pearl Jam - Ten
Sting - Ten Summoners Tales
Oasis -What's the Story Morning Glory
Sarah McLachlan - Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
Indigo Girls - Closer to Fine
Dave Matthews Band - Remember Two Things

That's as far as I got - but pretty much everything Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin too.

Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes

I used to listen to his Kelly's Heroes soundtrack. And the Thunderball soundtrack. I loved soundtracks when I was young.
Me too with Diamonds on the soles of her shoes! Waka waka- Ladysmith Black Mambazo sang waka waka before Shakira

Edit: Oops - most of those are not vinyl. My vinyl days were back in the time of Disco - Abba, Donna Summer, BeeGees - say sorry, Sai - I did have The Long Run and Rumors - loved them. And lots of Elvis.

.,..I had a large collection of 33 1/3's....so I pretty much rotated between my pantheon of favorites, ZZ Top, AC/DC, Kiss, Aerosmith, Foghat, Nugent, Pink Floyd, Bob Seger and the like....then if I was in a mellower mood I would go to John Denver, Jim Croce, Air Supply, Carpenters etc.....
