My boyfriend and I just bought the "11.22.63" mini this weekend (and watched the first three episodes).

It is great. I have not read the book yet, but if it is even better, as I suppose it will be, then I want to read it soon.

I don't know how similar some scenes or characters will be, but I want to read how Jake first realizes the past fights back. It was good in the show, but I am sure sharing his thoughts during these moments will bring so much more to my enjoyment.
Definitely take the time to read the book - it's so good and one of my favourites :frog:

Hey KRF - I just looked up my book (Night Shift softcover 1979 first edition that I paid 1.99 for - it's worth 50 bucks!

I just bought it because I don't have a copy and I wanted to read it (again) :biggrin2: Last time I read it I had taken it out of the library.
:reading:
Is it this one? This is a duplicate that I picked up in my jaunts of thrift stores.

arcanestore.com . . .got a couple different ones coming from nameless city apparel as well. Saw mention of both on nocturnal readers youtube channel so i went hunting
Alas, I had to cancel my subscription to The Nocturnal Reader's Box. I can't afford to be spending money right now for non-essentials when I don't have a job. :flat:

I have never heard about The Nocturnal Reader's Box before. Reading everyone's comments has peaked my interest. How long did you subscribe and was it worth it?

Has anyone else here subscribed? I'm curious if anyone was disappointed in what your received? I think I would like to try it.. but maybe one month at a time for at least a couple months to make sure I'm happy with it... what yall think?

well, i only just subscribed, and haven't received a box yet, but i signed on for 6 months based on watching several videos of previous unboxings (available on youtube) . . .i liked what i saw. this upcoming month the theme is feast, which includes what looks like a vampire art print based on the portion they showed on their social media, it looked pretty cool. also has a silence of the lambs item and a jaws item. i think if you like sci fi/horror, you're odds are good for liking it. i'm also on the hunt for the shirt they put out with the box a couple months ago that says eat, breathe, sleep on the back with sleep crossed out and replaced with read . . . and they said they were ordering more and i gave them my size, so happy about that too. they seem like solid folks

On there website I cannot find how long they have been in business... perhaps I'm missing it. Curious as to how long they have been doing this. How long were you a member kingricefan ? and anyone else that is a current member?
Thank you recitador , I will look them up on youtube as well. :)

based on what i've seen, i wanna say they started october or november of last year. definitely not much longer than that if i've got the month wrong. the videos i watched were mainly of customers showing off what they received, from several different channels, although i did watch one introductory type video from the owners as well. ETA: for being such a young company, they've gotten a hold of some impressive products to distribute to people.

I've only received the one box that was all King related. I am very happy with what was included. They are a new company but they've been able to get some really cool items to put inside these boxes. They are very quick to respond to emails also, which is a good thing.
