Let's see, last SK related purchases.

Dr. Sleep and Joyland (finished both and they were great!)

Candles Burning by Tabitha King and Michael McDowell

    Bachman Books

Am reading NOs4A2...Big, thick book...really like the short chapters...

@notebook girl, I hide my book buys too. I love books and stories. Each one feels like a microcosm to lose myself. My hubby is NOT a reader and prefers to write computer code. He doesn't care to read or discuss stories I've read...

But I read am and pm each day and really enjoy it.

I do not hide my books but my husband does not read either. It's the reason I come here (well one of the reasons... the jokes and pictures can be quite good as well!) :tickled_pink:

My husband does not seem to mind if I buy the odd Stephen King book so I am thankful for his understanding. He is a Scotsman but not quite as frugal as the stereotype would lead one to believe!

I have to hide them when I bring them in, but then I put them on my SK shelf. He doesn't know what is new and what is not! He doesn't really look either. We are in the middle of trying to save money since he went back to school. Not spending like before. I can't help myself though when I see SK books that are bargain buys!

Horns... I love that book! Who among us hasn't woken up with a heck of a hangover and staggered to the sink to get ready for the day?

Just came in the mail today! I have been wanting one of these for YEARS! Even came with the publishers note (I hope you can read it). It's quite funny to read what Elaine Koster has to say about this writer.... thinner arc 002.JPG thinner arc 004.JPG thinner arc 005.JPG
