Interesting. Didn't know that about Hutton on this particular movie. A method actor? LOL. Nice find. Finally found a bluray copy of The Dark Half (the newer edition put out by Scream Factory). It's been years since I saw this and it was a treat to see it in high def. I watched the 'extras' and Timothy Hutton is not remembered in a nice way by the crew that worked on the movie......
Yes, a couple of the interviewees said that he was definately a 'method' actor. Had to have two trailers on location- one for when he was playing Thad and the other for when he was Stark.Interesting. Didn't know that about Hutton on this particular movie. A method actor? LOL. Nice find.
Score!!Last weekend while at our usual used bookstore. Got a signed copy of End of Watch for $9.
When I hear of actors behaving like that I always think of what Laurence Olivier said to Dustin Hoffman on the set of Marathon Man when Hoffman explained he achieved his disheveled exhausted look by not sleeping for a couple of dsys before the scene was shot , Olivier replied " Try acting dear boy, it's much easier".Yes, a couple of the interviewees said that he was definately a 'method' actor.
