When I lived in Fort McMurray, Alberta, I took in stray teens...those whose parents kicked them out. Child welfare did not like it....said maybe they needed to learn the hard and their parents kicked them out for a reason. I told them to go f*ck themselves....which is funny considering I was doing contracts for them at the time. Kids do not learn by being on the street. I had one named Paul Turner. He grew up and got into some heavy drugs but turned his life around. His mother died from alcohol poisoning when he was twelve. I just found out he died from alcohol poisoning. I loved him very much. This is hard for me. I found out tonight. Oh Paul!

I am so sorry, maid. You absolutely contributed to positive aspects of his life, but at the end of the day, it's a choice to drink, whether you've been read the riot act or not. I know nothing any of us can say is comforting right now, but I am quite certain this guy thought the world of you. My condolences to you from south of the border. (((((((((((((Staro))))))))))))))

So, so sorry. Saying you did your best for him isn't enough, I know, but it's true. You loved him when no one else did, and love is never nothing.

No Becky is not home. She will be so upset when she finds out. I do need a warm bath though. I think I need a wash and two weeks sleep! I have to deal with this and try to deal with my cancer. I feel so very bad. I loved Paul...he was my boy. I know he loved me too.
I'm sorry hon and I wish that Becky was home right now.... please try to just curl up tonight and let sleep take care of you. Check in with us tomorrow, yar?
Love you, kid.... xox
