I promised yesterday to tell you about the interesting Saturday at work. Here it comes be prepared.
I went to work as usually on Saturday, my co worker left from work around 3 pm and then I was by myself rest of
the evening in work and serving our customer. Around 8 pm a guy walk in and directly to the place in the gas station where we sell
beers. I saw that he took a lot of beers from the beer cabinet. Then he walk back and said to me that "call the cops if you want to, but
I'm gonna steal these beers because I don't have any money to buy them" then he walked back out, came in again and took few more
beers and walked away with them too. I didn't called the cops but I wrote a note to my boss, we have security cameras so I knew
that my boss can see who did it, cause I did not recognize the guy at all. Monday morning my boss come to work and see my note
she asked me to come and see from the cameras who the guy was. I went to her office and we watched the tape. When my boss
saw who the guy was, she said "that's the same guy who stole last Friday beer from us too". Police also know who the guy is, what scared me most was, when my boss said to me that this guy have been sitting in jail because he have had a gun which he has threatened with. My boss said that be careful with him and don't go to close. He is also using drugs so he pretty dangerous. I think police caught him soon and he will be behind bars again. So are very interesting workday if I may say. I hope I don't see him anymore and the cops take him.
It's sunny and still warm here. Nights are cold.

Update: my ticket was dismissed from court today! Luckily I had a great Judge, last name Roach, henceforth shall be known as El Roacho, and after hearing my side of the story and also my witness' story (El Roacho said we both had very credible testimony!), he dismissed said charges. Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Neesy! I posted on here a couple of weeks ago about getting a ticket, after visiting a state park, for failure to pay for a day pass. I paid the money when I was at the park. I had my witness testify to this. Ironically there was a young guy and his father at the same court for the same thing that happened at the same park on the same day!! Coincidence? I think not. I think the person who comes by daily to gather up the money at the park just decided to randomly write out these tickets ($99 a pop for the fine!) to make the State some money and hoped that noone would contest it. What a crock!
Yes, what ticket? What happened? Where was this talked about? I missed it!
Oh my gosh! WHat a rip off! I'm glad the judge was smart.
Me too! Saved me $99! Which I promptly went to the closest Goodwill and spent some of my savings on books.

I need to start checking this thread and keeping up with you all. I still keep thinking of how the old groups work and I'm not grasping this more public board in the same way. I get it, but I am trying to get more comfortable with it.
