Well I'm back home for a while, my dad was unwell and in hospital, he's home now but still not 100% so I'm sticking around here to help out. Big plans for a trip to Thailand with friends to celebrate New Year are underway, so I have something to look forward to...then will move back to Greece around April time.

So that's my update...have I missed anything exciting here?

Enjoy the chocolate wine! I know it sounds like a weird combination, but I've tried it and it is surprising delicious! The more chilled, the better.

There used to be a winery in Astoria, OR that made all kinds of unusual wines. We bought (and tried) elderberry, cranberry, chocolate, and lemon meringue pie wines last time we were there YUM

I didn't know about Project Free TV. Thank you! I just visited their site and it was a bit overwhelming. Any advice on how to proceed? There seem to be a lot of links for the same episode.

Make sure you have excellent virus protection (and protection against adware and malware wouldn't be a bad idea either). I know more than one person who has had their computer compromised by Project Free TV. Be really careful.

First sort of childless day in a while *whew* LilMan brought home some bug that had disgustingness going everywhere (poor guy). Weird fever, too: low grade, but nothing kept it down for three days. Today he felt well enough to go back to school, but I won't be surprised if I get a call.

I'm now completely up on Ben10 (in all iterations) anyway. Ask me anything

Thanks guys...I'm sure it will just take time with my dad, but my being a nurse makes him feel better that I'm here. So here I am...family is important so I can sacrifice my own happiness for a while! Marsha I had the most amazing summer in Greece, loved every single moment. But I can't wait for Thailand now...life is for living!

Update: my ticket was dismissed from court today! Luckily I had a great Judge, last name Roach, henceforth shall be known as El Roacho, and after hearing my side of the story and also my witness' story (El Roacho said we both had very credible testimony!), he dismissed said charges. Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to start checking this thread and keeping up with you all. I still keep thinking of how the old groups work and I'm not grasping this more public board in the same way. I get it, but I am trying to get more comfortable with it.

Hey, it's great to see you! I know, the old groups were different, in a way. I like that now the regular board doesn't have to wait for comments to be approved. That's the primary reason I used to hang out in groups.
