I haven’t gone from anger to “I don’t give a damn” so early in a Jets season since the Rich Kotite era. :(

I have an idea for a new product. A "Jets" air sickness bag. An air sickness bag with the Jets logo would be a big seller. ;-D

You had the Ritchie Kotite era and I had the Cam Cameron era. They were both about as bad.

You mean you have to go an order your beer ahead of time? You can't just go down to the market and grab a few brews for the game? I didn't know you were living on one of the Galapagos Islands....
Oh, So you only need a couple of beers for a game?.....yeah, I can pick those up......and here I thought you were serious about your football and beer..... Glad you clarified that, because I don't drink beer and any leftovers go home with my guests....you just saved me a lot of money;;D

Reminiscent of, I think it was the '70s, when the Saints were doing so badly that many of their own fans called them the Aints and wore paper bags over their heads.

It's always nice to see fan participation and understanding of the game.

The Jets fan faithful knew we were heading into troubled waters before the season started, with Geno Smith’s propensity for interceptions, and a severely lacking wide receiver crew. Vick also had a history of trouble holding onto the ball. Add to that all indications showed their defensive backfield would struggle against the pass. Leaving $20 million in salary cap had us scratching our heads with so many deficiencies unattended. With half the season gone, it looks like our observations were accurate.

But we remained hopeful and a tad delusional. No more. If changes need to be made in the head office and coaching personnel, IMO it is the responsibility of the fans to let the Jets owner know how they feel. What better way than this?

Geno Smith was not ready to be a starting NFL QB when he was given the job last year. I think it was obvious to everyone except the Jets coaches. I am not a believer of throwing unready young QBs to the wolves assuming that they will learn as they go. I think many talented young QBs get ruined by this approach. Geno really needed to sit behind a good veteran QB for a couple of years. That still may not have worked, but he didn't have a chance by being given the job so early. There are very few Peyton Mannings that can start right off the bat.
