Dr. Jerry Jones says Tony Romo is ok.

Jerry Jones is an idiot. (Sorry Cowboy fans) It sure did look like Jerry Jones forced Tony Romo back in the game the other night after a back injury (Romo has had two back surgeries and was even wondering at the start of the season if he was going to be able to play at all). They actually gave him a shot for the pain and sent him back out to play. I understand this is some cases but not after a guy has had two serious back operations. Now Jerry Jones is playing doctor and seems to be controlling all the info that comes out about Romo. He issued this statement earlier today:

"We have nothing medically that would prevent him from playing," Jones said on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas on Wednesday morning. "What I mean by that is there is nothing to his injury that won't function.

This sound to me like he's setting up Romo to be called a wuss if he doesn't play. Dallas has a great running game and talented wide receivers and a backup QB who has started many NFL games. There is no reason to be forcing him back out there like this. Dallas can survive a week or two without him. I don't understand what Jones is doing.

Jerry Jones Was Weirdly Hands-On For Tony Romo's Return

I'm a Cowboy's fan, and I agree with you 100%.....at least when it comes to Tony Romo's injury. I'm happy to see them winning for a change, but Romo's safety and health should come first.

Miami Hurricanes looked pretty dominant today. Maybe they can topple FSU next week after all. With the way FSU struggled with Louisville, there's certainly a chance.

Not next week but two weeks which makes it all the better. The Canes are off next week so they have two week to get ready. The D is starting to play better. They have a ton of freshman and they seem to be getting better each week. I was a little worried after that opener against Louisville but they are starting to look good. Maybe they have a shot. It's in Miami too.

Canes, people!
