Just finished Thinner. Now Carrie. Dr. Sleep should be here by the time I finish with Carrie.

Can't wait to "hear" your thoughts when you finish!
I loved it, it was one of the best books I have ever read; and one of the scariest story I have ever read.
Just downloaded Sleep, Pale Sister on my Kindle...only $1.99! Thanks for the recommendation!Still percolating through McCammon, but I picked up a library book yesterday that's just captured me: Sleep, Pale Sister (Joanne Harris). I thought I'd read all of hers, but I hadn't even heard of this one. It's fascinating and creepygood! My brain has already cast actors for the main parts--lol. Apparently it was first released in the UK in 1994, but didn't get a US release until years later (after Chocolat). GREAT story so far!
God I loved that bookI'm working through "22/11/63" on my new Xmas Kindle
That is one of my favourite books - great romance and I like the idea of time travelI'm working through "22/11/63" on my new Xmas Kindle
Me, too - I did not hear about if from FB, just a newspaper insert reviewing books. I came here (SKMB) eventually somehow or other, after reading 11/22/63.God I loved that book
I knew literally nothing about it, I didn't even read the blurb.
I picked it up through recommendations from a SK Facebook page (that might have been what kickstarted my SK collecting binge actually) and was literally blown away.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
