Yeah, I really like it. I like Edward Norton so I was drawn to the idea of him playing a magician. I knew the sets would be superb, and trusted that the story would be well-told. It's a very interesting movie.

I guess I have to understand that. But American Beauty's my favorite Spacey performance. The story's direction is focused, not on a middle-aged man's obsession with a teenage girl, but on his own personal inner transformation, and I love how the movie accomplishes that.

Spacey is one of those actors who does it for me. Describing is difficult, though I assume with such actors come the qualities of intelligence, humor, nonconformity, and intensity, which are my favorite qualities in any artist.
