Gardenburgers are ok - little mushy, you have to pile on the toppings

That's them. They're a little on the spendy side, at $4.70, I think, for a pack of four. We've tried the other veggie burger offerings at the story, but we like the Bocas the best. I skilletize them with extra powdered garlic and cayenne, melt a little cheese on them, and put them in deli flats, adding pickles and spicy brown mustard. Fairly yummy. Sometimes if we want just a little more food, I'll make Boca-cheese-egg sandwiches.

Saturday was hot wings & sweet potato fries. Sunday was egg rolls, Chinese chicken salad & rice. Mon the manicotti. Tonight is Czechoslovak pepper steak. Tomorrow is schwarma. Thursday is white bean chili. We're international this week-lol! Then I start the whole thing over again on Friday. The Man likes to know what is for dinner each day, so I started planning a little more. I have to admit, we have more variety that way.

Lazy girl's guide to cooking dinner. Since I'm back to going to the Y, dinner suffers. Frozen cheese ravioli, with Newman's Sockaroni Sauce, and a salad. I think I'll have a bowl of Apple Jacks for dessert. Sunday I made chicken stir fry and fried rice - with made from scratch sauce and seasonings - pretty good for me. Monday was polish sausage, green beans and potatoes simmered together for hours -with Cajun seasoning - yum. Tomorrow I work late, so likely dinner for the family will be Backyard Burger.

Schwarma! I have no idea what I'm doing. The kids have been interested in trying it ever since The Avengers (don't tell ME subtle suggestion doesn't work--lol), so when The Man saw schwarma seasoning at the store he got giddy as a schoolgirl :) I'd planned on having chicken something today anyway, so I agreed to try. Searching for a recipe now.
