I knew my husband would not like this (he HATED Vanilla Sky) so my kids kept bugging me to watch it so went over my oldest son's apartment to watch it. I really enjoyed it! Crazy busy movie, but challenging and interesting. I'd love to watch it again sometime because I know I missed stuff....
I love movies like Inception. I liked Vanilla Sky because I'd seen the original titled Open Your Eyes. Both of them were good.

Ditto on Fools Rush In. And speaking of Friends...
Jennifer Aniston did a movie called Dream For an Insomniac. It wasn't deep or anything, I just always really liked it. Lots of Sinatra references.
And speaking of Sinatra references...Return To Me, with Minnie Driver. Only thing I liked David Duchovney in.

And from the 80s:
How about Summer School, with Mark Harmon and Kirstie Allen? Stupid silly movie that I smile all the way through.
And for the REALLY dumb 80s movies, did anyone else see something called Scavenger Hunt? Face from the A Team was in it, and Scatman Crothers had a funny part. I rented that a billion times at the age of 13 or so, and can't even say why. But I'd love to see it again.

Edit: actually released in '79. Oops. But I watched it in the 80s!

Isn't Fools Rush In just the most awesome romantic movie. I never get tired of it. Makes me cry. It's about the only think Matthew Perry did that I like.
It's a crying shame that Matthew Perry hasn't been able to crossover to the big screen well. Chandler Bing will always be one of my all-time favorite TV characters. Perry's sense of comic timing is impeccable. His work on Friends was arguably the most under-appreciated of any TV actor ever.

Yeah, he's back on TV with the "Odd Couple" - I haven't seen it but from the commercials, looks pretty bad...
