hubby seen the wound specialist today. He will see him once a week for awhile. the wound is looking much better. they cleaned it up and applied some medication. the specialist just feels it is healing slowly due to the severity of it and the fracture blisters.
That's good news - so glad to hear it! Sounds painful, but hopeful!

Let's hope it heals quicker now that it's been re-cleaned.

Great news - it's important that he is getting the attention he needs - hope he continues to feel better and heal well :monkey:

I think i see the light at the end of the sewer pipe. Have collected all the balloons along the way. Perhaps at the end the beautiful air will lift the balloons and carry me away.
The last couple of weeks we been without our AC and my car decided to act retarded. Bad timing.
AC needed some parts. Hubby got out there in his wheelchair and tried to fix it. Not without having to wait for one part to be mailed. Then the other part was a drive away. Finally hubby was frustrated and agreed I could call someone. Bless his heart. LOL It was a crossed wire. Well worth the service charge.Could finally sleep in our own beds and be comfortable.
Car easy fix. Hubby got out there and replaced the battery.
Now a good update: The Hubby no longer has to use the wheelchair all the time. He still uses the walker abit but on crutches for the most part.Looks alittle silly as he hops around as no pressure aloud on that foot or leg yet. However, they have taken the boot off the other leg. He now can get upstairs. Crawls up and slides down. Great to see the progress.
