She'll have a bit to read for sure, but Marsha is aware of the weekend's communications. I think she will be proud of people stepping up to take their part.I am just dreading when Marsha comes in to all this.
Happy Monday.
Thank you pegasus.I am sorry also if I had any part in this.
Ok, just making sure...it wasn't me? I didn't grow up with any nuns, but you'd be surprised at the amount of guilt a midwestern Protestant upbringing can leverage on your soul!
I was in and out last week and the weekend, dealing with (or in a flare because of)...issues.
Just an aside: Did you know it's flipping impossible to get rid of lice in dreadlocks? Well, now you do. We treated a person crashing in my home for weeks before she gave up. And it takes DAYS and DAYS to comb dreads out. DAYS. And that was with me and my 3 daughters working hours on end. So. Much. Laundry. We've been washing everything for a month. Thank Peter, Paul and Mary, no one else has gotten them....
Anyway, can someone in the know send me a PM so I know what's been up, and also so I know if I'm a problem, and if not how to help?
And, I proffer a blanket apology for anything I've ever done to offend or annoy anyone, ever. Up to and including that time I had the really bad chili dog farts and tried to blame it on the kid behind me in Sunday School. Not my proudest moment.
And, in its own post, I wanted to thank Moderator, Dana Jean, and FlakeNoir for all their hard work, patience and lack of firearms usage in these forums. Moderating is a cr@ppy job most days, with gusts of infuriating and heartbreaking to keep things interesting. There aren't enough hugs (or monies!) to express how important you all are!
You're fortunate that they would comb out. Most have to be cut to the scalp. My former SIL had dreads and had to have them out for a reason (can't remember-cobwebby brains here) and had to have her head shaved. Fingers crossed that no one else has to deal with lice!

Yes, I am sad to say - it was the ever changing avatars that did the board in.
