Words fail me.What do you guys think of this years new Halloween costumes?
Per the first one, it's scary to me how some define "sense of humor". The second one is just sophomoric.

Sorry folks; I am a real fan of satire. Edgy satire. I find them funny.
The Jenner one isn't so terrible, but the Cecilhead is sad. Cashing in on his demise is pathetic and a waste of money that could be better spent on protecting other lions like him from a$$hat poachers and hunters.
I'm a fan of themed costume parties. My come in your birthday suit party is still talked about on Ellen.
First one isn't funny and I'm not sure what kind of person would wear it. The second one is cracking me up.

I can see the second one maybe getting a laugh at someone's front door one Halloween, but sorry, the Cecil one is simply disgusting, and all expressions when disgusting aren't satire or any other form of art.
We're both entitled to our own opinions and I respect yours. I grew up with the very early years of of Saturday Night Live and National Lampoon magazine and they did things like this all the time (before the phrase politically incorrect was thrown around like loose change). Maybe it's generational.
As to the specifics of the Cecil the Lion-themed costume, I can easily disassociate the immoral and inhumane acts from the satire of the costume. Maybe others cannot. That is where the debate starts.
I loathe the cecil costume, and just find the caitlyn one boring actually.

Depends on your tolerance for subversiveness, I guess. I don't find either particularly offensive. Stupid, sure. Offensive, no.
