I wasn't meaning you were, (being sexist) I just wasn't sure if you knew that women here also play rugby. And hell yes, it's as rough as guts. :biggrin2:

This is funny... and the complete opposite has been circulating on FB for the last few weeks... well, on my (and other Kiwi's news feeds anyway :biggrin2: )

Argentina can bring a good game, they play passionately, we'll see how well our boys have settled in (to the northern hemisphere/time zone etc) for sure.
(I can be a bit superstitious and try not to speak of winning specific games, right before the game... unless I'm trying to pysch-out an Aussie! :biggrin2: )

Amazing.
I know this video is advertising a product (nothing to do with me or anyone I know) but I wanted to share it, for two reasons.
1) It shows a little of how much the "Haka" means to us when the boys perform it before a game... and it shows the dedication of a player.
2) It showcases Richie McCaw, our team captain... and he's my guy! :biggrin2:

England 35 ~ Fiji 11

Fantastic game, congratulations to England for the win! (plus bonus point... look out Australia)
However... the score does not at all reflect the game that Fiji had. I have never seen Fiji play with such heart before this... fantastic performance and they should be very, very proud of themselves!

Thought I might catch the Ireland vs Canada game this morning before the kid's softball game started. But $27.99 to see the game... I don't think so. :(
Aw man, I don't blame you! :(

I was very discouraged yesterday because (I don't have Sky TV so can't see games live) I realised that our local TV was only showing the first game (Eng v Fiji) live... and all of the NZ games would be DELAYED (by about 9 hours!!!) and the other games... highlights only!
I was devastated, because I had misunderstood what coverage we'd be having.

Anyway... I have now paid $12.95 (per month, will need two for the tournament) and now I can watch ALL of the games!
It's possible to watch live, but I've found it a bit too laggy, so now I wait until the game is over and then watch the whole thing... with no lagging at all.
I will get to see all of the NZ games just a couple of hours after the match instead of 9 hours! (I have already had 3 games 'spoiled' because of FB... most rugby fans are watching live.)

Enjoy your games. Viewing will be limited here for me-- Catch as they are shown by whatever TV station decides to carry them.

We got the win, but it was an ugly game... we made a lot of mistakes that will need addressing before we hit the field next.
As for my boy Richie being yellow-carded. Not a very clever move there, Rich. :hammer:
