Actually, i want to amend this answer. Theres a black snake that has been living on the East side of my house for three years -- I love the fact that its there because it will keep the rodent population down and they are territorial so he'll keep the bad snakes away....When I first saw it, it would scurry away in fear even if it was many yards away from me...However, over the years, its gotten used to me....Dont get me wrong, it wont let me get close enough to catch it, but if its out in the yard and sees me, it doesnt run off...It just looks at me now like,"Hey Neighbor, Good Morning. Lovely weather we're having, isnt it?" and its flight zone is shorter now: I can walk in a fairly close proximity of it ( 4 or 5 ft) and it wont take off....weird

So many things. My mom had a bad childhood and a Cinderella-like teenage experience, so we were sheltered--didn't have to do a dang thing. I'm STILL learning things I probably should have known years ago.

Yep. Out after breakfast, home when my dad did that loud dad whistle. If you were beyond hearing it, you had gone too far from home.

Camping with family and after 4 days I was going nuts. So I started hiking up the road very quickly, but quietly (so no one would say, "I wanna come!"). About a mile from camp, I heard a rustling in the bushes, and, being basically a city person, I immediately thought of killers in the brush. I whipped around and came face to face with a HUGE elk (at least a 5 point). We stared at each other for a few seconds, then he loped off down the mountain. Scared both of us!

I have to? Um...maybe Margaret Atwood? Great imagination, interested and involved with many causes, but with $ to do fun stuff, too.

6. Did you ride bikes when growing up? Describe. Yes.. bicycles and dirt bikes.. not much to describe, it's just what we did as kids back then.. lol
7. Have you ever had an odd/cool encounter with a wild animal? Describe. Don't know how odd my encounters have been.. from the country, all kinds of odd/cool encounters. I have had many of them as pets... skunk, deer, bobcat, squirrel, raccoon, etc (as pets, they were free to come and go.. not caged or fenced.. the only alteration with the skunk was descented)

Yes. Had a Crescent that was real good. Usded to take it on long tours in the nearby forrest. beautiful.

Met a moose once. Out taking a walk at our summer place. Turned a corner on the trail and there he stood. Just a meter away from me. Have never seen a moose that close. He was HUGE. One understands why he is called king of the woods. Have never seen a moose look so surprised though. After we both stared in surprise for awhile i decided that i could take my walk somewhere else and backed away.
Also that bird (Tornsvala in swedish, think it maybe Swift in english) It cant fly unless it is about one meter or more up in the air. It needs that air under the wings. Once i found one on the ground. It couldnt fly from there and i wouldn't want to take it in my hands (he was rather young, thought the parents might reject him) but he climbed op my leg(they have sharp claws) over my tummy and chest up to my shoulder (i stood still) and there he spread his wings and flew away.

Not history documentaries. They are often too flashy and hide certain facts to support one theory. I liked these BBc ducomentaries. Life on Earth, Planet Earth, The Living Planet, The First Eden

1. Who do you feel is the best male singer ever? While I don't think he's the "best" singer ever, I'm gonna go with Joshua Radin. Saw him in concert with Matt Nathanson last year, and he was amazing. His voice is just so soothing and there's something about it that makes me happy.
