Did anybody hear about Charlie Sheen admitting on Good Morning America that he has AIDS and has had it for 4 years?
I believe I read that he said he's HIV positive, which isn't the same thing as having AIDS (though it can lead to that, if treatments aren't available or don't work). Tough thing to work through, but it's not a death sentence anymore.
Checks for last month's newspaper articles are late (were due Mon, and still not here), and that makes me decidedly crabby. I can use the $. If I wanted to work for free, I'd be banging away at my own stories (lol).
Done feeling sorry for myself and bothering others. sorry, prob lost a friend. And doing things I should not have done. 
Better now. Finally looked at bank account, I am ok. Was worried. I never like to look at it, but I am always ok. Room mate owes me money big big for bills I had to pay. Have not seen him since I asked for it.
I hate hate anything to do with money and stuff. Just want to work and have it. Whew, I do.
Just did not want to deal. Nows, I gotta get real serious.
My sister emailed me and invited me for Thanksgiving. Shock of shocks.
Probably felt bad about that "hit the wrong number call"
I can't go. She is over an hour away, over the Walt. An just don't feel like it. It is always a bit weird there anyway. I did not grow up with her. But she hosted all the Holiday dinners.
She is 14 yrs older and was married and gone and having her children by the time I was getting my appendix out in 3rd grade. I used to think my mom and her played together when they were little.
I don't know how to respond, I have not seen her in so long, but I am sure it was a guilt thing.
She is a big SK fan, gave me my first book - hope she is not a secret member and reading this.

She has extended an olive branch. Pick the damn thing up and try your very hardest.

I think this sometimes too about people I can't be my real self with.I bet if you go you'll have some great funny stories for us. It would be good for you if you could go. You need a big horrid holiday gathering like the rest of us have to endure.

Tonight was interesting. I learned about the Roman empire. What a vast machine they were. And I made a new friend and learned something about myself. I'd say it was a noteworthy evening.
