Tea is more of a couple times a year thing for me but that's a great tip. I never would have thought to do that. Thanks!

I have a keurig but never use it,it seems to me the coffee doesn't stay hot enough,or long enough,it just doesn't work out so I switched to the stove gas burner percolator,and like the coffee from it much more.

What does coffee do for me.
It does not wake me up.
It does not settle me down.
It does not focus my thoughts.
It does not make me jittery.
I just like the taste of coffee. We grind our beans at home, and the family thinks our coffee is amazing, but really, whether it's fresh ground or evaporating at the 7-Eleven, it's good enough for me. Scalding hot or room temperature or ice cold. No creamer, no sweetener, no frothy milk, no candy. Just coffee. I just like the taste.

Coffee? Taste rather horrible i always thought. But i know i am rather alone in this way of thinking. I get my coffein kick from Coke or Coca-Cola. Keeps me from falling asleep at work.

I'm drinking coffee right now, as a matter of fact, just a touch of sugar and cream cause that's how I take it, unlike those cats what gotta take theirs straight black, ugh, no, may as well drink beef broth if that's what you like, bleech, and another thing, there's nothing like fresh ground caffeine straight from the bean to amplify one's natural brain kick writing, no sir, it really gets those synapses cracking and snapping, I first met Dean Moriarty not long after my father died and we went on the road looking for girls, kicks, everything, cause the only people for me are the coffee ones--coffee to burn, burn, burn, like fabulous Roman cappuccino machines that gurgle and froth, froth, froth---

Every time I see this thread I gotta make myself a cup!
Mixes well, hardly any aftertaste.

I only drink one cup of coffee a day. With my breakfast. Chock full o' nuts in a refillable K-cup in my Keurig. Two sugars and milk. Yum!
Totally spoiled by fresh ground beans. Used to be a Folgers nut. Not anymore. In fact, I was having a cup at my sister's house yudder day, took a drink, said, "blech, what kinda generic freeze dried crap is this?" She said, "Folgers, ya primadonna coffee snob." I was like, "eeep?".
We have it bad, We buy Starbucks beans and grind them fine to make pressed coffee every morn.
