I like the bi-color roses, too. I went looking for images of some and the first one I found was this red and white, which if you look closely to black and white one is photoshopped from...

Osiria rose
....well dammit!....black roses were my first love and I thought I'd found a legit variant...

I've got a Camelia in my front yard that's lost it's freaking mind. I don't know if they're supposed to be cut or what, but this thing is insane.

Hibiscus, a wee sprig bought today to go in my yard.

I've still got to pick a spot for it. I'd like to rip that Camelia out by the roots and put it there. It's lovely, but it's entirely too unruly. Just try mowing around it. Barmy thing slaps me in the face coming and going.

First, stop using adjectives such as barmy. Camellias really don't like it and will sometimes react with slapping. Second, you can prune it to shape it but it might be in the wrong spot for you, or is a variety that gets too big for that spot, that is that maybe you could prune it too much. Do you happen to know, can I grow camellias indoors?

I imagine it's possible to bonsai any tree. My brother once had a bonsai ponsettia that was just amazing.

And I didn't start calling barmy until after it started slapping me in the face.
:p
It's about 20 feet tall, plenty of room for it. I guess I could always trim it down and see what happens. Then, if it keeps acting up, I still have the option of ripping it out. It would be fun, trimming it into a shape, if it'll behave itself. It almost looks like a spiral. Maybe I'll see if I can trim it like that.

I've got an old dead azalea stump that just won't go away. It's nearly down to the ground. I've tried chopping at it, tried burning it out more than once, no luck. It's stubborn. And it's guarded by the biggest colony of red ants I've ever seen. So I can't just hook up to it and try to drag it out. Nature's fighting back with that one. And it's in a spot where I want to put in some fruit trees, along the side border of our property, toward the front. I just have to get those fecking ants out.
