Surprise care package from one of my dearest friends who lives in Australia. 2 packs of Tim-Tams (the US version are decidedly NOT the same), Arnott's mint slice, chicken flavored salt (?), and a lovely handmade painting on a 100 year old board. I'm blessed (and a little leaky around the eyes). She's coming for a visit to the US in September and I can hardly wait 
I am happy because my first attempt at drawing a feather....looks like a feather. I will have to make attempts with markers next.
I get the house to myself all day!
I have missed the "I have a meeting" post - Do tell. I'm too lazy to go a' searchin' *actually busy - I'm busy and I should be working but must take a break or I'll go nuts*. Anyhow, how was the meeting? What was the meeting? Champ thinks you're preggers. LOL - I'd fall out dead if I got pg at my age. Just dead. That would be the end of me.

And - I am happy that we have so many nice new members joining.
I just want to say, no matter what you think of me-- like me, can't stand me, think I'm an idiot --whatever. I want you guys to know that I am very protective of this community and all of you here.
And that's not saying we don't get on each other's very last nerve sometimes, we're like brothers and sisters that way. But we all usually can find some common ground and appreciation for each other in one thread or another on this board. And things are cyclic. Round and round we go and each lap is different.

And when a truly nasty energy sh*ts on the board, it makes me realize how great this community really is. Make fun of my thoughts if you want, but I think we have such great people here and I learn stuff from all of you each and every day.

I think most of us feel the same way, and when that sanctity is threatened, it really makes you appreciate the kind and generous people here.
