Spoke WAY too soon...back to the Angry thread for God knows how long....
I am happy today because my heat went out. Was cold. Had to call for the office maintenance. The guy came and fixed it.
While he was here, I so very casually mentioned, "Sir, can your recommend a handy-man in the area who could install hardware and hang curtains?"
"I will do it" he says, "Just have the hardware here - I will come back Tuesday afternoon"
oh, happy me. It will be done when I get home from work. Just have to buy the hardware. And now more curtain shop.
Having curtains hung has become a big deal for me. It looks so empty in here.

Yesterday the dog food was at the end and my mom asked me if I can go and buy some more. I told her that I don't have enough money
to buy the expensive dog food from the pet store and must buy the cheaper dog food from supermarket. I get my money tomorrow and
then thought to go and buy the expensive food. Later on the evening I and Juho went for a coffee, I told him that I have to buy the cheaper dog food for my dogs when I don't have enough money. I also told him that Uno (my older dog) have a very sensitive stomach and the supermarket food is not good for him at all. But what could I do when I hadn't enough money to buy the expensive food. Guess
what my dear darling did, he walked to a ATM and took out enough money so I could buy the better food for my dogs, then he said
I don't want that your dogs eat any cheap food and Uno's stoamch is not feel well after that, here is money so you can buy the food
what is best for them. I told him I'll pay it back, he said no worries pay when you can. What can I say, I just have a good man that I love
so much and a man that really cares about my critters as well.
I am also happy when I found out that 11/22/63 starts next Moday on our Fox channel.

Things are improving. Still can't play CD files without either completely transferring all to another app or lugging a laptop and speakers around, but got portable speakers to work well enough to at least start one of the Overdrive books! (I was looking around for lightning to strike.) The book seems to have synced to the iPhone in entirety and not missing bits! Also the phone paired to the speaker perfectly on first try! What?!? After an anguished week and a half I can stop tearing hair out and my scalp feels better already!

Someone that works at the same company as my husband just had a baby. To be released, they have to purchase a piece of medical equipment for $4,000. It is not covered by their provincial health care, nor by the company insurance. So a co-worker started collecting money for them. But, because of where this guy works, not a lot of employees know him. When the person collecting money went to the owner of the company, he started up a fundraising page for the family, and sent a link to every employee. He also started it off with a $2,000 donation himself.
I thought that was pretty awesome.

This is funny! Not so shallow to you. I don't hang curtains. It makes my mother in law crazy. I think that's one of the reasons I don't hang any - We've lived in our current house 13 years and still no curtains.

yikes, all my complain - and he left a note that I did not see. Did not want to come in when I was not home. err.
So then, now. Everything has to change. Been and nailing and re arranging pictures. Wobblin on things and nailing.
Looks lived in now.
Now need new furniture to match curtains. Who knew I was so girly girly? So looks good. Glad I held on to some of my things that are important to me.

Curtains will slowly steal your soul... I have been thinking. First day with them.
