My car is still not inspected in this state. I am mad at myself. And it's way past due. Still riding round with PA inspection.

Nothing bad wrong with it. Engine light. Has a fuel/air sensor thing. And that gas cap thing.

Just don't have the time off of work to get it done. Every week I say Imagoona do it. But, needs two days in shop for this thing.

Don't even get me started on trying to transfer license. Way big story. They tell me that I now need to get a new passport to prove myself, and that's going to cost me. Mine has expired.

I am American. The hells.

I have a valid license, just not in this state. Wonder if that is legal till my license runs out? Have been Really putting this off with a few false starts - that led me to deal with things that I did not want to. Lot's o things.

Well, there ya go. Guess I am angry today.

Deep breath, NN. Take some time and look up on net for your state re Motor Vehicle- drivers license is usually X amt of days once you become a legal resident. Get the car repairs once you have the funds- Maybe the car repair place will have a loner car/ or maybe you can work it out with a co worker for pick up once you bring the car in. Once car is fixed, get the tag and inspection if needed in your state. All this will be cheaper than fines. Valid drivers license that matches your residence will make getting a passport easier. Good luck.

Sorry bout rant. Finger, flew. This has been bothering me, because I took care of everything else.

I know. It's just that this car of all things caused me to find out so many things that I was not aware of. Legal things, like your name not matching from Birth certificate to all of your paperwork now. s/s taxes..

I had had enough. Did not expect to find out what I found. Could not deal, so I put it in the back of my mind, and I still can't get any legal papers. And I stopped trying, because it upset me. too much.

Now, it's way past time to deal with it. I will just get a passport again.

Crazy how something like that will work.

You had a Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day! It's over now - whew! Paperworks - meh!

Car troubles - ouch Sundrop. I nearly died a few weeks ago - a bad mechanic told me untrue things and said $2300. Nearly dead. I have a good mechanic, finally.

I had a flustercluck of a day. I had to go back inside the house three times to get stuff I forgot. And then I forgot to get gas on the way to work - driving on a fume. Work errands and events all day. But I did have on my pretty swirly dress. It floats out and I catch myself spinning around a lot to make it - like an 8 year old. I'm glad I had it on - made a bad day better.

Having a trustworthy mechanic makes car repairs so much better, doesn't it? I've used the same guy for years, he understands my paranoia about axles, wheels, etc and always gets me in right away. He's always very thorough when he checks out the problem, and explains things in words that I can understand. I had a tie rod break while driving once, and it turns out that you can't steer if one breaks......I ended up going over a 30 foot bank, landing on the drivers side in a creek. Ever since, if I hear the slightest odd noise, I always get it checked out.

I'm really glad you had on that pretty swirly dress.....maybe I should get one! :)
