I gave myself a really nice sunburn Friday. We were slow at the salon so a few of us sat out in the back parking lot, rolled up our pants legs, and baked ourselves while we talked and solved the world's problems.
......I didn't realize how very baked I was until Saturday morning. I'm a lobster!
Nobody to blame but myself.......
Where you in bikinis?

The Post Office lost two packages and are now forwarding my mail to my daughter. Apparently, they can't be arsed to look at the damn NAME and ADDRESS. I'm :livid:
Agree- they need to read the address and not rely so much on the barcode zip.

I could write a book on the PO= sent a package out west/ track showed it only left my PO to sorting facility in Tampa. I waited, reported, they said they'd ck. Got a call from friend- package rec'd. Next day get call for 2 PO/ mine and one where sent to- both are promising to track and find. I inform it is delivered. Oh no- our track shows lost. Two weeks later I get forms to fill out a claim!

Another friend sends package from NJ- zip code label must have been torn. It traveled the entire state of Fl- each getting a note stamp, undeliverable. Finally received it 2 months later. Think it had every city in the entire state!

According to Robert B Parker, the last shark fatality in the state of Massachusetts was in 1938. When was the last shark fatality off or inland the State of Maine? Are there many 'white pointer's' in the water?

Land shark? ;-D

Seriously, though, the most recent article I found about shark attacks claims that there has never been an "unprovoked" shark attack in the state of Maine's history. Now why anyone would provoke a shark, I have no idea but it didn't say if those had caused a fatality or injury. I'm assuming it did not.

I meant that a shark might have went up one of the rivers looking for food. Some sharks can tolerate fresh water. I was looking at some articles and they said there have been great white sharks reported off the coast of Maine.Shark Sighting In Wells, Maine Being Investigated By Police
