I'm very thankful that it wasn't worse. I had been saving up for new windows for the house, so I took the money from that fund......also thankful I had it to use.
I get that entirely. My cat started making a horrible noise this morning and I about had a fit - can NOT afford anything big right now. Luckily, I was right down the street from our mechanic. He jacked it up and found a big stick jammed in the passenger side rear tire area (thanks, windstorm). Removed it and didn't charge me anything. Very grateful!

Your poor cat! I hope that big stick didn't hurt her too much! The mechanic was an interesting choice.;;D

I'm going to assume that by mechanic you mean vet.........by stick you mean hairball, but as for jacking it up I'm puurfectly perplexed about that one.

I’ve going to start taking my cats to a mechanic, also. It will be a hell of a lot cheaper then the vet. One of the females seems to be blowing a gasket as of late. :)

I am laughing hysterically over here. It's hard to believe that one letter mistyped letter can cause such fun for us all!

I miss you crazy folks!

I am too! No cats were injured in this event, but my car is all better :D (next time I'll check that phone message before I hit 'send'--lol)

I'm glad it was just a stick, and easily removed.
I don't blame your cat......if I had a large stick lodged in my left rear end, I'd make an awful noise, too......;;D
