Ive been bad....... I entered a used bookstore and somehow i ended up with 16 books. Neil Gaiman American Gods, John Saul Shadows, Dan Simmons Black Hills, Robert McCammon Baal, John D Macdonald Darker Than Amber, Paul Anderson Winter Of The World. Add to that a Bradbury I did not have and a Steinbeck and some Ngaio Marsh and Josephine Tey. It was only later i realised that somehow i have to make room for the books in my suitcase. That is an equation with no solution especially since i bought two interesting factbooks in a fancy bookstore in Denver (they were on bargain price, i just could not resist) but the used books were only a dollar a piece so i did not ruin myself. Are the titles i mentioned good? Ive heard you talk about Saul and thought I should form my own opinion. Are Black Hills or Baal good?
Bookstore will be my economic ruin. They are my kryptonite. Put me in front of a bookstore and my thoughts drift away. I am standing there with my mouth open, my tungue popping out, practically drooling like a kid in a candystore.
