Those were great when I was a kid, but man is that stuff hilarious as an adult. There is so much you miss as a kid in Bugs Bunny. The world's greatest smartass in history!
But, the greatest, IMO, cartoon they put out from that group (The Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies folks), is the one not related to any of their core characters. Perhaps one of the greatest commentaries on show biz, humanity and life in general. And so hilarious...
My favorite part is the having to put out the FREE BEER! sign, and then they boo the free show... LOL, there ya go, that's people!
Random thought: I have slices of dried mango I made myself here at my office to snack on. They are pretty damn good.
We had officer I used to work with who sounded EXACTLY like Foghorn Leghorn on the radio. I used to do a semi-decent impression of him since we were from the same part of Arkansas but his drawl was much deeper, more like the actual cartoon character.
"HEDQWAWTARS, I'M GUNNA BE OUT WITH A STRANDIIID MO-TOR-IST IN THE AREA OF EXIT SIXTEEE TWO ON THE INNASTATE, I SAID EXIT SIXTEEE TWO HEDQWATARS, DO YA COPY?"
I'd use my best Foghorn Leghorn attempt to repeat his traffic to everyone in the radio room. It usually got a pretty good laugh....
Children getting mawled by dogs...lol. Sorry, but who would want to smell like chicken?

Usually, I don't mind going to the laundromat (kids stay home, I can read while machines do all the work).
I also usually don't mind when fellow launderers strike up friendly conversation.
But when it's just me and a dude in there and I'm giving off signals that I'd rather not be bothered, it's annoying.
And when the forced small talk turns quickly to how his ex "turned batsh!t crazy" and "took out a PFA" that is just creepy.
Ugh, why me????

Okay, being totally ignorant here.. What is PFA?
Protection From Abuse (meaning his ex got a restraining order against him). Even if I had wanted to talk to this guy, that would've stopped me right away. Who tells a stranger something like that within minutes of meeting them?
