I just saw a really funny ad for a moviechannel here in sweden on my tv. It starts with a middleaged guy standing in his kitchen looking out his window. He sees a guy running a chainsaw in the backyard. Calls out to his wife about it and says he is going out there to ask him how much he would take for sawing down their birchtree. He goes out the kitchendoor.... Then comes the sign. "It is actually good for your health to watch movies!" I thought that was funny.
Kurben, this one is good for a laugh too!

It feels like Saturday to me. I will clean the windows and cover my bed in some fresh sheets. Then I try to wrape a birthday present nicely and do some chrochet. I bought me a book since I am not good in/on it anymore. Learned it when I was a child but my aunt who showed me it died many years ago. First project oven cloth.:smile2:
I learned to crochet from a book many years ago - good luck with your project!

What a strange weekend - saw a good friend on Saturday which was nice. Son and future daughter-in-law went out and then he had supper at her place.

I've done a whole lot of nothing much - did make supper, watered plants, filled bird feeder, washed the floor etc. but no laundry. (oh yeah - pancakes for brekkie)

I notice my 20 dollar French Manicure lasted all of three days - think next time I will just do it myself and save the money

Hope all are doing well here and getting ready for a new work week starting tomorrow.

Tomorrow I start week 10 of going to the gym every day after work - not sure if I can actually see any results yet physically but I definitely feel better and stronger :flex:

I followed the green M&Ms advice today:

Next time get a gel french manicure. (NOT to be confused with gel nails. They are NOT gel nails.) I have a gel french manicure as I type this, going on 3 weeks and it looks great and I just worked out in my yard without gloves.

Thanks for the tip!
:):biglove:

I got a pedicure that has lasted me a good three weeks - I don't think they call it gel here, but rather 'shellac'
