I can't pick - there's sooooo many goodies here in the office right now. The cranberry orange bread is good, but the cookies and cream HOMEMADE truffles....sigh.... and someone brought us some fresh baked garlic bread with roasted garlic cloves in the bread - not just a schmear of garlic butter - oh - my - gosh - it was good.

Sounds like our office . . .special goodies are brought in from employees all during the month. It's pretty amazing.

My favorite holiday treat is the yummy Christmas food. It's one of my favorite. Potato, carrot and rutabaga casserole. The ham and
rosolli salad. Yummy yummy...... And of course Xmas chocolate that no one can avoid. There is so much other treats but can think of them now.

This is the one I used last year!....sounds like it, anyway.......maybe milk?
Peanut Butter Fudge
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 can (5 oz) Evaporated Milk
  • 1 Jar (7 1/2oz) Marshmallow Fluff
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 9 oz Peanut Butter (creamy or chunky)
Grease a 9-inch square baking pan; set aside. In large saucepan combine first 5 ingredients. Stir over low heat until blended. Over medium heat, bring to a full-rolling boil being careful not to mistake escaping air bubbles for boiling. Boil slowly, stirring constantly, 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter until blended. Turn into greased pan and cool.Makes 2 1/2 pounds.

That is until you step on the scales after making this--then I'll be . :D I only make it every few years when I just can't resist the craving or I wouldn't be able to resist eating most of it all by myself.
I'm making it to share with my friends.....I figure if I'm gonna gain weight, I'm taking them along for the ride.
I'm also making a red velvet cake/cheesecake......and giving half of it to my best friend

My two favorite desserts combined.

Looks delicious and I'm not even that big of a chocolate cake fan. After all the Christmas cookies I made and consumed while I was at my daughter's, I'd better back off on the treats or I'll be owing Weight Watchers money again come January. I haven't dared step on the scales since I got back home.
