I must have missed this while I was trying to get the hand signals down.Didn't you see Close Encounters?
I smell a Weird Al remake of Whitney Houston's song, "Where Do Broken Hearts Go?".Where do socks disappear to?
I have a theory i think is rather good. (not mine but an explanaton i've read about that actually fits. To start with i don't like theories creating more questions than it answers. The basic facts are pointing to that the crew for some reason in big haste abondoned ship. Why?The Mary Celeste -- What happened to everyone on board?
That is so interesting, and fits. Nothing was taken, the crew's stuff was there, their cargo untouched. Why would they be gone. That would explain why a whole boatload of people would just be missing.I have a theory i think is rather good. (not mine but an explanaton i've read about that actually fits. From evidence it seems a meal was about to be eaten. My suggestion is that they ate bread contaminatedwith Ergot. Ergot is a fungus which likesgrains of all kinds, especially rye. Its active ingredience is Ergotine, highly poisonous. The result of eating it in a human is severe delusions suicidal attempts and ultimately death. Several outbursts has been observed in land. One in 1951, france where a miller were extremely sloppy in doing his work so Ergot got to his flour. The afflicted ran out of their houses screaming saying that devils, monsters or something worse waschasing them or eating down. Before they could be subdoed, brought to hospital four people were dead and 30 injured. Similar outbursts has happened in Belgium, Russia, Germany, Poland... The list could be long. And something typical for the food at sea in the 1870-ties is that quality was not the first you thought of. If a similar outbreak happened at sea they would abandon ship in great haste to flee from the imagined monsters the Ergot created. That is what i think happened with Mary Celeste.
Unsolved mysteries: every SK book where he leaves what happens at the end up to the constant readers imagination.
If she was stripped naked and her body weighted down correctly and was dumped where there is a strong current she might never be located. Yeah, I watch too much Dexter.
That was very intriguing. My gut would say he was just a con man .I would like to knowwhat really happened to Kaspar Hauser. Was he, as some say, a hoax? And if not, Who was he? And who killed him? and why?

It is a pity the article is rather heavily biased. The author is more out to put forward everything that points in the direction of Con man and demystify everything and painting the picture that we know all the answers which is rubbish. There are other sources that are not at all convinced. Sure, he was apt to lie, that can be seen from evidence but he didn't get much out of it and his lies gives to me more the impression that he lied to please which is not unknown in youths. That is to me a better explanation of the inconcistencies in his stories than a cunning con man. The basic mystery of him is still unexplained. And as for him killing himself i don't buy it. Even if the wound could have been selfinflicted it does not mean it was. I don't think a con man would stab himself in the lung with a knife just to enhance the credibility of his story. He would have known that the chance of death were rather big. But i don't know and neither does the articlewriter. I so dislike his attitude of know-it-all that can be seen in his writing. There is a difference between theory (opinion) and fact and he never makes that clear. That was very intriguing. My gut would say he was just a con man .
Yes, the stab to the chest, that was fatal, I think that would be very hard for a person to do to themselves. I had never heard of him before, very interesting. It is a pity the article is rather heavily biased.
