Romantic comedy????:barf:lol

Hey... I'm just a sensitive soul, with a penchant for keeping my heart from bursting out of my chest.
All right, I'm just a scaredy-cat. :wink2:
But... I believe in love, I believe in happy endings, okay, I believe in make-believe... ;;D
I believe... that I just can't do horror. I cannot handle being jump-scared.... blame my childhood. :biggrin2:

9.) American Horror Story: Roanoke (episodes 3 & 4)

Episode 4 told the beginning of the story, shed light on the present situation. I almost didn't recognize Lady Gaga, except that I knew she was in this season and it eventually dawned on me. Oh how I love Kathy Bates. She is my favorite actress.

4) Dead and Buried (1981)-my all time favorite B movie! I haven't seen it in years :)
5) Phantom of the Opera (1925) I realized that I've never seen this movie, though I've seen a scad of stills from it. Decent movie. Chaney was a scary, scary man. (FTV)

6) Dracula (1931) Renfield is the absolute best part of this movie Dwight Frye had a tidy little career with the Universal monsters, and he stood out in every role. Wonder what happened to him?

1) Gerald's Game
2) Dead Rising: Watchtower
3) The Thing (1982)
4) Area 51 - Three young men, and later, a young woman, break into Area 51. Found-footage style film where you don't see much and 94 mins ends up feeling more like 2 hrs+. I wouldn't even really class it as horror, but nor is it SF really so I guess that's why Netflix dropped it in the Horror category. Another 1.5/5
5) Piranha (1978) - I remember watching this one with my dad, way back when. I was still only about 7 or 8, and I hadn't seen it since so it was surprising to find how much of it had stuck. OK, it wasn't - and was never - great, but coming off the back of Area 51 it was a masterpiece. 3/5

3) Nosferatu (1922) FTV – I had never seen this and didn’t realize that the folks who made it basically decided not to ask Bram Stroker’s family to use his story. They changed the names of all of the characters but followed the novel’s plot. Bram Stoker’s widow sued them and won, and most copies were destroyed. Count Orlock is creepy and there’s just something about a silent movie that makes me nostalgic. 4/5 for its time and just because!

My List:
1) Stir of Echoes (1999) - 3.5/5
2) Lights Out (2016)FTV - 3/5
3) Nosferatu (1922)FTV – 4/5

I agree. I posted earlier that he is excellent in this movie; much more frightening in his performance than Lugosi is as Drac. You have to admit that parts of this movie are a tad boring though.
