LOL! You have a strict definition of porn :) I need more than nudity to make that distinction. Excessive, very graphic sexual activity or excessive, stomach churning violence. OR sex and violence mixed and over the top--Cronenberg regularly skates that line brilliantly.

Wolf of Wall Street bored the hell out of me, but I don't worship at the shrine of Scorsese, either. I don't like many of the social commentary movies about the 80s (and given by druthers, I'd choose American Psycho--lol); boring, when you lived in the era.
I was just playing here. Need to remember not everyone gets my humor.
I was going to say "different strokes for different folks"... but considering the topic at hand, :Oo: maybe not?

I agree with you about 2-4 (just average, though my kids liked #2 quite a bit). I liked Byzantium, though it wasn't scary, it was interesting. I'd probably go 4 for that one. And I've never seen Trick 'r Treat! I've been trying to find it to watch it :(
I found it at Walmart, in the $5 bin.

....and I thought I gave 4 stars for Byzantium, but it looks like my fingers got fat and typed 3 by mistake. :biggrin2:

Love me some Cronenberg!!! Have you seen The Brood speaking about horror?? Or Rabid?? Both from the 70-ties before he got accepted through movies like The Fly and Dead Zone. Great movies all.

Yes, I have, though it's been a while on both. I was actually deciding between The Brood and The Yellow Wallpaper last night. I chose... poorly :)
